We were amazed in the Amazon where Jenna Morasca used that girl power to win it all and avoided being pilfered in the Pearl Islands, where Sandra-Diaz Twine made out like a bandit! This week, we will be plopping ourselves in Panama again for the show's first returning contestants season; All Stars and venturing to the volcanic islands of Vanuatu!

ning contestants. Why did I bold the last point? Simple! Before this season, no contestant ever returned to play again! But this time, 18 of the show's best and brightest fought for the grand prize back in the Pearl Islands!

After 39 days, Amber Brkich (now Mariano) took home the grand prize as the show's first winner to be a returning contestant! Vanuatu

Why did I bold that last point and what does it mean? Simple and simpler! This season is the first season to feature a contestant being the last member of their tribe by the final 7 contestants remaining, yet have that person go on to win the season! In this case, that lucky person was Chris Daugherty, who snagged the cash after scheming and deal-cutting his way through! Although I initially intended to wrap up the Age of Curiosity with Palau, I feel that it deserves a post of its own, so come back next week to conclude the era with me!
